TO LIVE A STANDER-ED LIFE EVERYONE HAVE TO COMMUNICATE OTHERS TO SHARE IDEAS AND GET IDEAS. THEY ALSO SHARE INFORMATION AT ANY TOPIC. THROUGH THE WAY OF COMMUNICATION WE CAN LEARN SOMETHING AND TEACH SOMETHING.
SO THE COMMUNICATION IS THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND THOUGHTS AMONG THE INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP OR POPULATION.
SOME SKILLS ARE GOD GIFTED BUT WE CAN LEARN IF NOT GOD GIFTED. HOW WE CAN GET THESE SKILLS?


BEFORE WE PROCEED TO HOW CAN WE LEARN WE SHOULD KNOW THE WAYS BY WHICH WE COMMUNICATE OTHER.
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COMMUNICATION.

  1. VERBAL COMMUNICATION
  2. NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION
 VERBAL COMMUNICATION:-

           COMMUNICATION THROUGH VERBAL MEANS THROUGH SPOKEN WORDS IS CALLED VERBAL COMMUNICATION. 

NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION:-

           COMMUNICATION THROUGH UN SPOKEN WORDS IS CALLED NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION.

KINASIC:-
     A PERSON USE BODY MOVEMENT DURING COMMUNICATION AND FOR COMMUNICATION IT IS KNOWN AS KINASIC.

PROXIMIXS:-
     THIS COMMUNICATION INVOLVE THE TIME FACTOR.

FACIAL EXPRESSION:-
      USE FACIAL EXPRESSION FOR COMMUNICATION.

APPEARANCE:-
        YOUR APPEARANCE WILL SHOW COMMUNICATE OTHERS AS IF YOU WEAR SOME THING YELLOW IT SHOWS THAT YOU ARE WEAR FOR MEHNDI.

HAPTICS:-
        COMMUNICATE THROUGH TOUCH IS CALLED HAPTICS.

SILENCE:-
         NO RESPONSE IS ALSO A RESPONSE. IF YOU ARE SILENT FOR ANY QUESTION THEN YOUR SILENCE IS ANSWER FOR THAT QUESTION.

COMMUNICATION THROUGH SPEAKING:-
       WHEN YOU COMMUNICATE ORALLY MAY BE YOU ARE DELIVERING A SPEECH OR DISCUSSING SOMETHING.
      AN EXTENSION WORKER DELIVER HIS MESSAGE BY MAKING A SPEECH TO LISTENER AND THEN QUESTION ANSWER. BEING AN EXTENSION WORKER WE SHOULD PREPARE SPEECH AND DELIVER ACCURATELY.
          HOW CAN WE DO THIS?  

PREPARING A SPEECH:-
  • TO PREPARE AN EFFECTIVE SPEECH WE SHOULD MUST ACT THESE STEPS.
  • BE CONFIDENT BY SELF AND AGAINST THE LARGE POPULATION.
  • YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOUR LISTENER, THEIR INTERESTS AND DESIRES.
  • SELECT A SUITABLE TOPIC ACCORDING TO SITUATION AND CONDITION OF AREA.
  • COLLECT RELEVANT DATA ABOUT YOUR TOPIC.
  • ARRANGE DATA IN A SEQUENCE.
  • DON'T USE OFFENSIVE WORDS IN YOUR SPEECH.
  • USE SIMPLE AND COMMON LANGUAGE AND WORDS. 
  • PRACTICE AND PREPARE YOUR SPEECH TO DELIVER.
  • USE HEADINGS AND KEY POINTS.
  • KEEP THE MAIN POINTS AT FIRST.
  • CREATE CUE CARDS IT MAY HELP IN DELIVERING A SPEECH.
THESE ARE THE MAIN KEY POINTS HOW TO PREPARE A SPEECH. NOW ITS TIME TO DELIVER YOUR SPEECH.

DELIVERING A SPEECH:-
  • YOUR CONFIDENT PLAY AN IMPOTENT ROLE IN DELIVERING EFFECTIVE SPEECH. BE CONFIDENT DURING DELIVERING SPEECH.
  • FIRST EXPRESSION IS THE LAST EXPRESSION.
  • START FROM LOW TO LOUD VOICE.
  • SOUND  AND PITCH CAN EFFECT DELIVERY.
  • INCLUDE FUNNY WORDS TO GET ATTENTION OF LISTENER.
  •  USE CUE CARDS. IT HELP YOU TO COVER ALL ESSENTIAL PARTS OF SPEECH.
  • KEEP EYE CONTACT. DON'T SHOW HESITATION IT WILL EFFECT SPEECH DELIVERY.
  • DON'T SPEAK OFFENSIVE.
  • BE POLITE AND SOFT.
  • DON'T KEEP STATUS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR AUDIENCE.
  • THINK AT THEIR LEVEL.
  • DON'T SPEAK TOO FAST OR TOO SLOW THAT YOUR SPEECH DISCOMFORT TO THE LISTENER.
  • SPEAK APPROXIMATELY 150 WORDS PER MINUTES FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE. FOR OTHER LANGUAGE IT IS DIFFERENT.

EFFECTS OF POOR SPEECH DELIVERY:-
  • IRRELEVANT TOPIC.
  • IRRELEVANT DATA.
  • TOPIC IS COMPLETELY NEW TO LISTENER.
  • UNPOPULAR WORDS USED IN SPEECH. DIFFICULT WORDS USED.
  • SOCIAL STATUS OF SPEAKER CAN EFFECT SPEECH DELIVERY.
  • LOSS OF CONFIDANT.
  • SPEED OF SPEECH.
  • HESITATION EFFECT SPEECH DELIVERY.
  • DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOCIAL STATUS 
  • OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR OF SPEAKER.
  • CONDITION OF SPEAKER.
EFFECTIVE LISTENING:-
 SHOULD REQUIRED FOUR THINGS FOR EFFECTIVE LISTENING. LISTENER DEPENDENT.
HEARING:-
      CAREFUL HEARING WITH INTEREST WILL LEAD TO EFFECTIVE LISTENING.
UNDERSTANDING:-
      HEAR AND UNDERSTAND WHAT SPEAKER WANT TO SAY. UNDER STAND HIS CORRECT MEANING OF SPEECH WHAT HE WANT TO SAY.
ATTENTION:-
      FULL ATTENTION RESULT IN EFFECTIVE LISTENING.

      THINK POSITIVE ABOUT SPEAKER.
